1. Click Create Trip plan on the dashboard
2. The new trip modal will populate. *The only information you need to create a trip plan is the trip plan name, you can add more information later if needed.
Trip Details- 1st tab
Trip plan name *Required*- Give this trip plan a title I.E. Florida Hotels, Jamaica Honeymoon, Wilson Family Vacation
Especially Prepared For- optional, if you want to put a group here you can- Wilson Family, Mr and Mrs Wilson
Enter Travelers- optional, You can add in travelers you have previously saved in travel42 by typing their email or name, or simply add a new traveler by clicking the plus sign. You can add multiple travelers to a trip plan
Suggested retail Price- optional, The Suggested Retail Price is how much the Trip report would cost if you were to charge them for it. This gives the Trip report a perceived value. Many agents mention that it is included in the booking fee or that the cost is waived. If you prefer not to have a Suggested Retail Price, simply leave it blank.
Departure/Return- optional, you can add the departure/return if you have that information, or simply leave it blank and you can return to add it later
Duration- optional, The duration of the trip plan
Comments - Leave any comments for your clients that you want them to see- Airline info, booking info, cost of the trip, a nice note.
Layout- 2nd tab
*You can check and uncheck any of the options listed on the Layout tab, This is the info your client will see when you send/print a trip plan
Show cover page-the cover page includes a beautiful photo that you can upload or link, OR if you do not upload a photo we will chose one from the information you add into this report. Also your business card is listed here and shows your name, contact info and a headshot and/or logo that you can add under "My profile"
Show trip summary- Table of contents
Business Card- Your contact information and headshot and/or logo
Online View- the emailed/ webview version of the trip plan
PDF View- Printed version of the trip plan- *In the PDF you will not be able to add photos from the photo galleries in destination guides/hotels/cruises as this is the printable version but there are some photos imbedded in the report but to get all of the beautiful images to your client send them an email of the trip plan.
Add a cover photo- You can upload your own image or link an image which will show up on the cover page.
Notes- 3rd tab
You can add notes for this trip plan that the clients cannot see.
You will then click "Create new trip plan" Which will bring you to your workspace. Think of what you just created as a folder. You now need to add information to this trip plan. You can add multiple destinations, hotels, cruises, see and do activity, restaurants, etc. This trip plan can be as in depth or as basic as you want. Some agents even create trip plans that they can reuse over and over.
You can see everything you add to this trip plan on the left under "My Collection" Once you start adding information you will see two new tabs pop up- Organize and Preview.
